Background
- Green Acres Sprouts (GAS) has a number of farms among them Oletepesi (50 acres) and Kuenia Farm (2000 acres). The Kuenia farm started operations in 2012. Both farms are in Kajiado county.Oletepesi farm is 35Km from Kiserian township, along Magadi rd.
- Kuenia Farm is 30Km to the east of Oletepesi shopping centre.
Corporate and social responsibility
There has been a number of CSR initiatives carried out by K&K mainly at the Kuenia farm. They include:-

Building four permanent class rooms for Mbolei Primary School.

Re-roofing existing class rooms at the school with iron sheets.

Providing portable water for domestic use to local communities at both Oletepesi and Kuenia.

GAS has identified Glaucoma as a common problem in the area and plans to facilitate a free eye clinic for the community around Keunia farm.

GAS produces maize , chillies and okra as primary crops.
GAS is proud of its reputation as an ethical food producer of national significance. GAS produce is sold in local retail outlets.
GAS employs over 30 people, including people with disabilities and is committed to promoting gender equality in the workplace.
